Year wise List of Ex-Office Bearers

Ajmer Zila Laghu Udyog Sangh was formed in 1969 and was registered in 1972. The original incorporation was as Ajmer Laghu Udyog Sangh. The word " Zila" was added subsequently to signify its presence in whole of Ajmer District of Rajasthan.
The main objective of the Sangh is to help its members in efficient running of their enterprises. Sangh's main objects are listed on Objects page.
Sangh has been largely successful in coming upto the expectations of its members. This year Sangh has organised many programmes:

1. On 22-2-2002 our President Shri Surendra Lodha and ex. President Shri Rakesh Gupta attended a confrence organised by secretary Industries at Jaipur on following issues:
- Suggestions for  increase in Investment in Rajasthan
- For better management of existing industries, their problems and suggestions
- Thrust Sectors
Sangh presented their views in the meeting on above points.

2. On 17-1-2002 a meeting was organised with Chief Engineer AVVNL ti  discuss various power problem faced by member units. The meeting was attended by officers of AVVNL and members
3. Organised "Deepawali" Sneh Milan Samaroh. The same was attended by members and their families. Various programmes were organised for family members such as:
For Ladies : Rangoli Compitition, Mehndi Compitition etc.
For Childrens : Painting Compitition
For All : Quiz Compitition
The function was also attended by officers of various department connected with industries.


4. "Pushkar Udhyog Craft Mela" was organised in association with  Udhyan Protsahan Sansthan and District Industries Centre Ajmer from 26-11-2001
5. On 10-11-2001 a Seminar  was  conducted with   Commercial Fare Deptt. on "VAT". The same was addressed by Additional Commissioner Shri Vipin Bhatnagar. A memorandum of "VAT" was given to him.
6. A meeting was organised with Regional Director, Employees State Insurance Corporation, jaipur.

7. Mr. M.B.S. Agarwal(MD-Jagjan Pvt. Ltd.) our member attended 10 days work -  shop organised by Asian Productivity Organisation, Japan at Dhaka, on integrated productivity improvement for supporting industry.

8. A camp was organised on 24th and 25th August with Factory Inspector & Boiler Office. The Purpose was to arrange approval of Factory Building Maps and Registration.

9. The annual general meeting of the Sangh was Convened on 22nd April 2001. In the meeting new team was elected unanimously. Mr. Rakesh Gupta & Mr. Satish Rathi were co-opted as executive members unanimously by executive committee.

10. On 22nd April 2001, the new team of the sangh organised the function for launching its website "www.ajmerindustries.org". The launching was done by Shri R.C. Gupta, Regional Manager, Bank of Baroda. Shri P. N. Mittal, Joint Directorof Industries and Shri B. L. Meena, Dy. General Manager, RFC were special invitees to the function.

11. The Polution Board, Govt. of Rajasthan in February 2001 increased the fees for consent to establishe & operate a unit by many foldtimes. At the same time there was a hefty increase in power tariff. Not only this, the Govt. levied increased turnover tax etc. All these factors forced the entrepreneurs of Rajasthanto joint hands under the banner of united council of Rajasthan Industries, Jaipur.
The agiation started with :
a.   Car Rally at Jaipur, which was attended by sangh member on 14th May 2001.
b.  Non Payment of Power Bills for the month of April 2001.
c.  Member of Sangh attended the first ever conclave of entrepreneurs of Rajasthan on 25th May 2001.

13. Work shop: for Foundries in collaboration with Process & Product Development Centre , Agra ( Govt. of India ) and District Industries Centre, Ajmer

23. Submission of objections before Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission(RERC) against proposal of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam 's (AVVNL) proposal to increase tariff.



Sangh regularly brings out a newsletter to keep the members update on various issues connected with law, happenings and other related matters.

Its of great significance that while deciding on the petition filed by the AVVNL, the RERC has considered many of the objections of Sangh as valid and has asked AVVNL to act as per some of the suggestions made by Sangh.

Sangh has forwarded suggestions to both central and state government for the annual budget.
Sangh enjoys representation on various bodies at district, state and national level. The various departments ask for Sangh's suggestions on various issues connected with revenue, labour laws etc. Sangh deems it duty in fulfilling this obligation.

This year Sangh has made a new beginning. A gala programme was organised to celebrate Diwali Milan. In this programme this time members were invited along with their families. Competitions were held for ladies and children.

Sangh is indebted to various agencies , patrons and above all its members without whose support and guidance such activities could never have been possible.
