About Us: Ajmer Zila Laghu Udhyog Sangh

1. Mr. Surendra Lodha nominated General Secretary in Laghu Udhyog Prakoshth of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress by Dr. Girja Vyas.

2. Sangh was registered under section 80G of the Income Tax Act - 1961 for the year 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.

3. Sangh's WebSite "www.ajmerindustries.org" was hosted in April 2001.

4. Sangh Represented to RERC against the petition filed by AVVNL for increase in power terrif in Feb' 2001.

5. Filed a petition in Rajasthan High Court against the order of RERC.

6. Membership of the Sangh was highest since 1969 in the year 2001-2002. Total members 200

7. Mr. M.B.S. Agarwal(MD-Jagjan Pvt. Ltd.) our member attended 10 days work - shop organised by Asian Productivity Organisation, Japan at Dhaka, on integrated productivity improvement for supporting industry.

8. Organised Ajaymeru Udhyog Craft Mela at Ajmer and Pushkar Craft Mela in 2001 as Co-organiser with DIC Ajmer.

9. Organised a meeting at Ajmer with Smt. Vasundhara Raje, Minister of State, Govt. of India, Small Industries.

13. Started the process of honoring part presidents for their contribution to Sangh's development.

14. Participated in Protest arranged by 'UCORI' in Jaipur against the increase in fees for consent to operate and establish a industrial unit by Pollution Board and increase in Power Tariff.
Ultimately industries got relief from Pollution Board as they reduced the fees substantially.

23. Submission of objections before Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) against proposal of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam 's (AVVNL) proposal to increase tariff.
